Annalù

Annalù (Annalù Boeretto) was born in San Donà di Piave (Venice, Italy) in 1976. Annalủ graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 1999. She currently lives and works in her “palafitte” home by the river Piave in Passarella di San Donà di Piave, Venice. 

Since 2001 her amazing works have been shown in numerous personal and collective exhib-its in Italy and abroad. For several years she has been developing an unique technique combining different elements such as resin and paper, bark and glass or cement and roots. Through her work she creates new realities and imaginary architectures where alchemy is lightness. Her sculptures feature deeply lyrical characteristics, but also a huge formal im-pact, with images that are at the same time powerful and symbolic.
